As an organisation, we are involved in numerous projects throughout the UK. At any one time, we may be working on over 30 separate schemes that all require high levels of planning, attention to detail and management input.

It is for this reason we directly employ a sizeable team of contracts managers, designers, HSQE advisors and support staff plus over 150 on-site operatives and supervisors.

We are well placed to offer turnkey solutions to principle contractors, local authorities, government departments, private companies and blue chip organisations.

Littlewood Fencing planned and installed our temporary security fence, badger and newt fencing with professionalism and to a high standard of quality. Their onsite management ensured that their logistics and safety were kept to a high standard and they were always courteous and polite in a difficult environment with the local population. Littlewood Fencings post installation service was also second to none with modifications and damage repair being undertaken quickly and to the same standard as the original install. Project: Eurotunnel Calais Security Fencing

Description: Littlewood Fencing Ltd was initially entrusted with installing approximately 3000m of high security fencing and associated gates, however to date we have completed in excess of 6000m of the 4m high weld mesh system. 

Due to the increased threat level and significant number of attacks on the fence 3000m has been enhanced with a second layer of weld mesh to further delay and deter the would be intruders.

AMHU Llandough:

Project: Hafan Y Coed MHU - University Hospital Llandough

Description: A joint venture between Littlewood Fencing and CLD Fencing Systems has enabled a secure and safe environment to be established for Mental Health patients at the new Hafan Y Coed (Haven of Trees) Mental Health Unit. 

674m of security mesh fencing was installed around the perimeter and with 18 gates in total on the site; all the access control systems needed to be designed to offer Anti-Climb, Anti-Ligature and Anti-Cut including fully concealed hinges and locks. With this job we have managed to create a safe, sound and secure environment for all patients at the facility.

Description: We have currently been on site for circa 18 months already completing 2km of palisade fencing, post & wire fencing and various gates. We have just secured nearly £200k in additional works including this live Willow acoustic eco noise barrier, we are also installing all of the platform fencing and gates on the 4 new platforms of the new station. The project also includes high security weld mesh fencing and gates.

Description: This is a high security site where security, speed of operation and reliability are paramount. The entire job was carried out by Littlewood Automation's in house engineers, from planning though the ground works and installation to the final commissioning of each element.
